New Path At Mulsey 

We are planning to build a new path at Mulsey to faciliate much easier access for our members . It will be a large project and currently is scheduled to start on the 3rd December 2025 and last several days. To make sure the work is carried out safely the lake will be closed for the duration. Project finish will be determined by the weather so if you plan to go fishing at Mulsey during December please check back on  our website for opening status.

MEMBERSHIP 2025/26 – Now closed to new members.

With effect 6th August 2025 membership of the club is now closed to new members.The club has reached the maximum number of members allowable.

Any interested new prospect members should look at the website in April 2026 when membership will open again.

You can still join the club to fish Jubilee Fields ONLY online via this website/clubmate.

ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
If you encounter any Anti Social Behaviour at any of our waters this should be reported to the Police. Sussex Police have a reporting site that you will find on the internet. This is a link to the site and also easily found using Google etc.
Most important to keep yourself safe and not to tackle the issues directly.
On this site the Police advise in extreme circumstances-
Report immediate danger or threat to public safety
If someone is seriously injured, in immediate danger, or if there is a threat to public safety, please call 999 now.

Located in West Sussex, Billingshurst Angling Society welcome members of all ages and abilities.

Established in 1919, Billingshurst Angling Society offer our members specimen, pleasure and match fishing for Carp, large Bream, Pike and Tench with catches including carp over 30lb at our lakes (together with large Bream and Tench) and Carp to 30lb, Bream over 7lb and Pike over 26lb from the river!

Billingshurst Angling Society West Sussex

Billingshurst Angling Society holds approximately 6 miles of the river Arun with our fisheries including one mile of the Wey and Arun Canal, Weir Wood reservoir,  Stockwoods Lake at Shillinglee, Jubilee Fields in Billingshurst and Mulsey Farm (Ash Lake), south of Brinsbury College.

Note:  ALL fish including eels to be returned to the water following capture.  Under no circumstances must any fish be removed.

Billingshurst Angling Society is a very friendly and well established club with a variety of waters to suits all tastes. Specimen Carp fishing, miles of relatively untapped fishing on the non-tidal Arun, pleasure ponds and a thriving match scene. The fees offer incredibly good value for money and on some of the river stretches you may not see another angler!
